Snowfall and landslides in Himachal: One dead, Manali-Leh road closed, Yellow alert for heavy rain in ten districts

The weather in Himachal Pradesh is not taking its name to stop. A sudden landslide occurred near Thongpet Garang Nala in Pooh section of Kinnaur district around 9:00 pm on Sunday. A man of Nepalese origin died while two women were injured due to this. 11 sheep have died while dozens are missing in Pangidhar of the inaccessible area 15/20 of Rampur Bushahr. Sheep keepers also saved their lives by running away. At the same time, the bridge has been damaged due to the falling of rocks from the mountain in Urni on National Highway-5. Due to this the movement of vehicles has been stopped. In Nigulsari also, the movement on the NH was stalled for two hours due to the landslide.
