Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, while addressing a workshop on Parliamentary System organized in Jaipur Assembly Complex, said that if parliamentary democracy is strong, then the country will also be strong.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and senior leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Monday may have laid special emphasis on strengthening parliamentary democracy, but Gadkari could not stop himself from taunting him during this period. In fact, both the leaders attended the workshop on Parliamentary System and People’s Aspirations organized in the Vidhan Sabha Complex in Jaipur and also addressed the people during this time.
Both the leaders said that if parliamentary democracy is strong, then the country will also be strong. The workshop was organized by the Rajasthan branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association. During this, Gadkari also took a dig at the MLA, Minister and Chief Minister. He said that the Chief Minister is sad because he does not know how long he will remain in office.
Gadkari said that winning the sentiments of the people and coming forward is called leadership. When a person used to pull people sitting in cycles, rickshaws, I used to feel sad to see that, that is why e-rickshaws should be started. But the officials called it wrong. This matter went to the court, but I said that if the law has to be broken for the poor, I will break that too.
During this, Ghulam Nabi Azad, while denying the speculation of joining the BJP, said that the reality is something else. He said that there is an allegation against me that I am joining BJP, but I am not going anywhere. Azad said that in today’s time, the Legislature is passing through great difficulties along with being helpless.
Ghulam Nabi Azad said, relations should be better
In the inaugural session of the workshop, Azad discussed his relationship with former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Bajpayee and former Vice President Late Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, Ghulam Nabi Azad said that the relationship of Leader of Opposition with PM Narendra Modi should be better. There should be no place for bitterness in politics. When Vajpayee became the Prime Minister, he sent late Madanlal Khurana to me and said that how the house is run to explain to him.
Nitin Gadkari said, problem is with everyone, everyone is unhappy
In the concluding session of the workshop, Gadkari said that the problem lies with everyone. Everyone is sad. The MLA is sad because he has not become a minister. If you become a minister, then you are sad about not getting a good department. If he became a minister of a good department, he is sad because he did not become the chief minister.
The Chief Minister is sad because it is not known how long he will remain in office. It is believed that Gadkari has taunted his own party without naming the minister and the Chief Minister by giving an example of being unhappy.
