Tesla cybertruck Elon Musk’s company Tesla introduced its electric pickup truck Cybertruck to the world in 2019. The truck was then shown as a concept and is currently available on pre-order. So far, no official information has been revealed regarding its production and sale, but according to a report, Cybertruck is getting tremendous bookings. By the end of May, the electric SUV had reportedly received 10 lakh bookings. It has also been told in the same report that the company will start the delivery of Cybertruck from next year.
Elon Musk’s company Tesla’s news tracking website TESLARATI, citing an online Cybertruck reservation tracker, said that this electric SUV had received more than one million bookings till the end of May. There are a total of three models of the Tesla Cybertruck and as per the report, its dual motor all-wheel drive model has got the highest number of bookings. This Cybertruck tram can cover a distance of around 483 km on a single charge and can accelerate from 0-96 kmph in less than 4.5 seconds. Because it is an electric pickup truck, it also has great towing capacity. The company claims that it can pull up to 10,000 pounds (4536 kg). Its price will be $ 49,990 (about Rs 37.15 lakh).
The report states that this variant has received 48% bookings, while its Tri-Motor model has been booked by 44.5% people. The lowest booking (7.5%) went to its single motor build, which is priced at $39,990 (approximately Rs 30 lakh). Tesla has said it will produce the vehicle in late 2022, a year after Cybertruck production is expected to begin.
Reports say that Cybertruck bookings have grown more rapidly after the announcement of Ford’s F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck. Experts believe that people were waiting for the specifications of Ford’s electric SUV to come out, but if it is compared with Tesla’s Cybertruck, then Cybertruck looks a better option in terms of specifications and price. Of course, the Cybertruck’s design is also modern and quite different.
The concept version of the Tesla Cybertruck was first introduced in 2019. Tesla is going to launch this electric pickup truck in three variants and as mentioned in the report, the company can launch it any time next year.
